Kate McCahill is a writer, editor, and educator. Her first book, a Latin American travel memoir called Patagonian Road (SFWP), was published in May of 2017—learn more, here. Kate has written, managed, and edited content for a number of organizations, including Wellesley College and the Wellesley Centers for Women, the International Folk Art Market, the Museum of Fine Arts/Boston, Planned Parenthood, the Boston Publishing Company, IBM, and Champ Internet Solutions

Associate professor of English at the Santa Fe Community College, Kate serves as faculty advisor for the Santa Fe Literary Review, SFCC’s nationally and internationally-distributed literary magazine. She’s an alumna of Wellesley College and the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and today she lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her family.
